Anyone going, it's on this weekend, I nearly forgot.

Went last year and it was well worth the visit

I just got home from Ally Pally. Good show, I especially enjoyed the Renault Alpine Owners Club stand where they had a 1989 Alpine GTA normally aspirated car in red on show. I was an exact spit of a car I owned back in the day. Mine was a G reg too. If I had not had bought a car recently I surely would have made a bid for this car to the owner. How these glorious cars slipped under the radar I will never know. The year my car and the one pictured below were built Renault, worlwide sold on 93 cars !!

Every time I got in mine to drive it I smiled as I got behind the wheel. What a car. cloud9

I might have seen that one in it's day as there used to be one in Northamton (unless I'm mistaken) and it's a Norfamptun reg

tbh I didnt ask him. I was too busy prattling away about how much I loved my car. smile He did say that he had driven down from Northampton that morning and that he drives the car regularly. It was in absolutely perfect condition. A credit to him.

gretchen: here's a pic of the A110 which was parked next to the Alpine. (It may come out sideways frown ) I swear, if I hadn't have just bought my Hawk Stratos I would have made an offer on the Alpine or stolen the A110 biggrin

A pretty good show, but not as much in the main hall as last year, still, worth the visit
