unable to get on youtube???

hello!

over the last day or so i havnt been able to get onto youtube, i have changed nothing on any of my laptop/pc and i'm not able to get on.

last time i was able to get on was thursday evening and it said it would be down for maintenance but its now saturday. all my mates seem to get on it no problem.

any idea to what could be causing this?

Probably a DNS issue. Go to run and type CMD, then you will get a box up and after the C:\ gubbins you will get presented with, type in :

ipconfig/flushdns

Also worth rebooting your router if you use one.

just had a go of that now, no luck. really confused about this problem now. i dont understand how this could happen when i havnt changed anything.

This was down to Pakistan trying to prevent their citizens from visiting the site due to anti-Islamic videos.

Apparently they shut down links to it / denied service.

Yep - seemingly widespread youtube issues over the last few days, yesterday was intermittent for me too.
