AAAAAGGGHHH, TAB + SPACE!!

For ages now when I type quickly on the net I sometimes get near the end of the message or whatever it is and suddenly the thing gets posted incomplete. It's so f
king annoying. I've just discovered that it's by accidentally pushing TAB and SPACE (eg instead of A then D). The other classic (and I've just done this very thing in this message would you feckin' believe it) is when you're typing an email in Hotmail, a great novel of an email which takes ages and ages. Then right at the end you hit another combination and you go back a page losing everything you just wrote 
How can I turn off these irritating shortcuts and what's the thing that goes "backpage"?

Use firefox. If you inadvertantly go forward or back a page after typing a load of stuff into a text box, firefox will generally remember it if you go back or forward to the page you were typing on king annoying. I hate it when I'm pounding away at the keyboard, then look up, and realise I've hit the wrong key somewhere and I'm now typing in some other document or forum. Worst still when I hit send, and fire off the wrong message to the wrong person........
And why doesn't the Firefox spell checker work on my Pistonheads replies on my new laptop? It does on everything else, but the bits I'm typing in a reply it just seems to ignore.
