Hi,
I've just bought a Ph1 Peugeot 306 D-turbo (96N) for my girlfriend. The car has done 115k, and has no documented history of a cambelt change. Now while i'm sure it wouldn't do that mileage without at least one, i'm keen to have it changed for peace of mind. The car will be staying in Coventry so i'm looking for a decent independent in the area that will do the job properly, have a look at the car in general and assess if anything else needs doing or will need doing and not take the piss with price. Bearing that in mind, any idea how much it should cost (parts and labour) to have a cambelt changed. And an oil and filter change?

Thanks,
Graeme

It doesn't really need a specialist eye passed over it, if you take your car (or your parents do) to a competant mechanic then they will be able to repair your 306.
