As we all know 'Pimp My Ride UK' don't seem to have a very good reputation around our parts, bad craftmanship and dodgy build quality. A few months ago a Nissan Sunny done up by the assisting tuning company to the programme of 'Pimp My Ride UK' was stolen then sold on ebay. By the time it reached a thread it only made a couple of hundred quid, this is no exception.

Now is it me.. if you took out all of the rubbish accessories this would be a decent car, plus removing the awful interior of course and the bonnet thingy.

Poor car frown

If they had any taste they would of given it to a Jaguar specialist such as Knowles Wilkins and had it "modernized"

I reckon you could sell that to a pharmaceutical company that were trying to develop better headache remedies

If you could sit in that for more than 15 minutes without developing a vicious migraine then the drugs must be working smile

Saw this car 3 weeks ago with the windows down and the stereo up cruising down Oxford Road, Manchester. Couldn't believe my eyes. Least it's not a genuine TWR model that's all I can say.

A few years ago Max Power had an XJ6 as their project car - I hasten to add I only know this through living with slightly chavy university housemates at the time. wink IIRC That was rather more discrete and actually looked quite good.

Wasn't there an old factory version of the XJ6 or Sovereign that had a rather 'council' bodykit? I've seen a couple going around with deep front bumper.

This one with a wide-arch kit?

No, the one I meant has got more or less regular arches, but a deep front (and possibly rear) bumper. I've seen a couple of examples with the same thing - not sure if it's a little known factory edition (I think it had a 'sport' badge on the back) or just the favoured Halfords accessory. It's on one of the slightly squarer-fronted evolutions from the 1980s.
