Am I correct to say that the VAT on Broadband is not VAT exempt, although the total cost of the Broadband premium is tax deductible?

Broadband charges are no different in principle to telephone charges. and therefore are fully VATted at the Standard Rate (17.5%). If Broadband is used in the business, then the VAT can be reclaimed.
