Monaro VXR6.0 wortec pipes

my old 05 monaro vxr had the wortec system on it with the straight through pipes.
I had these removed and replaced with the additional silencers.

I still have the straight through pipes if anyone is interested in them....

What else would you need to fit them to a car? I'm no mechanic so not up on technical stuff.

not too sure. I presume what you take off like bolts etc can be used for slotting in the new pipes?

May need to check with mr wortec....

A lift helps too so you can get under it easy

Very easy to change, i have both sets and have swapped them about a couple of times in 20min on a ramp, sounds evil with the straight through pipes but the neighbors hate me

So if I had someone who could use spanners etc then they could be straight fitted or would I need something else?

I assume you have a Wortec catback Exhaust? if not these pipes don't fit your car!

I might be interested if you're not. I did have a set when I bought my 'ro, but didn't realise what they were for and binned them. Yes...yes...I'm an idiot. They were left in the boot and half wrapped up in bin bags so I thought it was a bit of the old exhaust from when the Wortec upgrade was done. The original owner told me what it was when I bumped into him at Greens. Unfortunately I realised too late and they were shipped off by the bin men. Strange that Vauxhall had neglected to tell me what they were, even though it was fitted at their garage, or that they were in the boot in the first place, or that I had a tracker already fitted, or that the engine had been remapped.....I could go on, but I don't want to bore anyone

How much do you want for it?

they were only used for a couple of months so fairly new. Just hangin around in my garage....

not sure on price. Any reasonable offers???

Went to pick up mr car today (dropped it off Monday morning) having got back from a brief holiday, and they ballsed up the paint job, so off I went sans car. My car has now officially been at Greens more than I've had it on the road. I have to wait until Tuesday to pick it up, and hopefully they will have done a proper job this time. I miss my car. It was so hard to leave it, but believe me I will go back, and back, and back until it's perfect.

Saw a silver VXR parked up outside the bodyshop. Anyone here?

Anyway, does anyone know the retail on the pipes new so I can make a reasonable offer? Brian, or perhaps someone from Monkfish?

A question for our moderator: I have an 06 VZ CV8 with Wortec cat-back, would these pipes fit? If they do I'll have them for a sensible price.

Sorry to have gone off topic a bit. I'm in the same position, 06 VZ CV8 with Wortec Cat back, so I would like to know the answer too. I think the bit you are selling is the same as what I had before, so it should fit. Can anyone answer? Also asked what they retail for? otherwise I'm not sure what a sensible offer would be? How much do you want for it Maverick?
