Audi MMI + LG KU990 Viewty
Discussion
Hi all,
ok, so, this morning my Dad took delivery of his shiny new LG KU990 Viewty. His old Sony Ericsson K750i used to work fully with his Audi A6's Bluetooth phone connectivity thing in the MMI-High. In trying to pair his new Viewty with it this evening it doesn't seem to want to integrate fully with it, i.e. it wont get the address book from the actual phone like it does with the old Sony Ericsson and my Samsung E900. Does anyone know why or might it have something to do with the fact the Viewty only currently has 4 names in its books as he doesn't switch over to the Viewty for 10days.
Thanks in advance for your replies!!

Yeah, his Viewty won't sync with Outlook either unlike the Sony Ericsson which he finds annoying because it's the one phone he really really wanted and is considering sending it back as it needs to function fully with the car and his computer.
It will call and recieve calls via the MMI but the car won't read the phonebook.
My thoughts were that it might be because it's really new to the market and perhaps the car doesnt have details for all the new phones. I.e needs a flash update/grade.
Just thought, I wonder whether my sisters MK1 Chocolate works with it...

yeah, ive been told that updating the blackberry would help (no word on the car software though), still didn't work after i updated it so :\
My Blackberry now works with MMI and transfers the phone book. Calls dialed list is always out of date though. Mine didn't work properly for ages then MMI broke all together, warranty work included new MMI, Phone Module and CD player plus 3 days at the dealers, and it works now. DIS stopped working yesterday though!Gassing Station | Audi, Seat, Skoda & VW | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
