I'm looking at getting my M400 wheels refurbed as they are starting to corrode in places.

Does anyone know of anyhwhere near Aberdeen that'll do it and possibly even do a 1 day service.

Iain, are they magnesium wheels?
If just your normal alloy, use PPS in Inverurie. I have done in the past.
Good service.

Just normal. PPF are they not just powder coating?

Yeah, providing you don't need kerbing fixed, that's what your wheels need.
They will blast them back to bare alloy and then powder coat.

I had my TVR Tuscan wheels refurbed by Pristine Alloy Wheel Refurbishers. Local agent is Laws Tyres. Give Alistair a call on 01224 703602.

Returned wheels to better than factory finish. Powder coating produces a different finish.

Pristine have a website also: http://www.pristinealloywheels.co.uk/

Depends how bad is your kerbing mate....when he did mine, he uses a grinder with sand paper (in laymans term as I don't really know the technical method) and it actually turns out alright for £50. But if you have time, I normal uses Stuart Scott from Paint Tecnik in ALtens. DOne a fantastic job on my Murci and ex-porsche....can't even tell of the scrape on the Murci....top bloke

Yeap...got both Johns and STuart's number:

John Smith : 07711846435

Stuart Scott (Paint Technik) : 07801301700 or 01224 899920

Stuart is just based across the Specialist Cars (Audi) in Altens. Give me a pm if you need anything else.

Cheers

You could give Scott a call at Motorwerks. I've had a few sets done through him now and they've come back better than new.

Iain, I would not recommend painting them. They will only chip.

I've used PPS at Inverurie for the cerb wheels and they did a great job. Plus the finish is so smooth it makes cleaning them easier and i would say the finish is tougher than paint also £45/wheel if i remember correctly, unless it's a 19" then a bit more.
