Don't immediatly suspect something, with 700+ examples out there of the M12 cars there will be quite a few that are pure sunny weekend only cars.

I bought my 53 plate in late 2006 and that only had 7,500 miles on it.

True enough. You can find Ferrari F40s for example that have had 15 owners in 15 years with that kind of low low mileage.

My 2 owner December '03 '53' plate has only got 4,900 on the clock!!!!! Do I win the lowest mileage prize?!

The first owner owned a Ford dealership and it spent 18 months as the centrepiece in his showroom.

I'm ashamed to say I hardly get chance to use it either, but I absolutely love it when I do and would never part with it.

btw despite the lack of use it always starts on the button and drives fantastically well.

(I now await the barage of abuse about not using it, ok ok I promise I will use it more....)

That makes it about £5 per mile in depreciation! Ouch.

Quiet right.
Just imagine the damage to engines that have to start with every last molecule of oil sitting down in the sump.

I use mine everyday, have done 6000 miles in the 9 months I've had it,I'm convinced the more it gets used the better it gets.I have got so much more out of the ownership experience this time around compared with my 3R that I sold due to lack of use. In any case its the only way I can justify having it, with 2 kids!
