5x 430 Scud's spotted: pics inside! & F1 Car

Hi guys,

I was lukcy enough to see my 1st 430 Scud yesterday courtesy of Ferrari GB. There was one car parked outside the workshop with another four inside amongst the 430/360 Challenge Cars. It was great to see the road and race cars so close as you could spot the similarities and of each versions. As you will see they're a mixture of red and black but couldn't see them very well.

As soon as I read in Evo mag that this car is as fast as an Enzo round Fiorano I knew it was going to special. With growing up around motorsport I am a big fan of the track focused production cars, with their lashings of carbon fibre, ceramic brakes and weight saving measures. Also having always been a fan of the 360CS, the arrival of this car is an unexpected treat for the lucky few. What an epic machine and I was very lucky to have had the opportunity to see them up close and personal. I have loads more pics and I'll post upon request.

Out of interest when do your cars arrive?

I attended the F3 & GT Media yesterday and heard the unmistakeabl sound of an F1 Car and it turned out that Red Bull, Honda and Renault had been testing on the other half of the circuit.

The sound was spine tingling as there were no barriers or security so it was an excellent opportunity to see these cars up close. I have some vids of the Honda which I'll post ASAP.

i can not wait to see a 430 Scuderia in the flesh ( and hear it too) saw the grey one that went round the dealers briefly through a window, but not the same as seeing one like you did.

F1 car is cool too,

When are the 1st customer cars being delivered? These 5 were Ferrari GB's to take to races with the challenge cars.

Interesting that the car with the gold wheels has a towing eyelet attached.
Was the white one infront of it a challenge car?

Don't all of the challenge cars have towing eyelets so they can be removed from the track in the event of an accident?

Red one is too (check out the wheel centres, wing mirrors, rear valance etc in addition to towing eyes ).

I posted a thread a few months back about delivery dates, from the replies in there if the first cars haven't been delivered yet, they certainly aren't far off!

They have so much presence and apart from that the challenge cars are on slicks, there are very few differences which I think is perfect.
Having initally seen pics of the yellow one in Evo Mag I would be tempted by that colour, but after seeing the red ones in the sunshine, they looked spectacular!

Hi Traxx,

I only have this one..

I didn't get the opportunity to have a closer look as it was in the corner of the hangar and I was preoccupied with the other 430's, however it looked very understated amongst the red ones and you can see the similarities of it to the black challenge car below. What do you think of the Scud? Do you have one on order?

430 scud definitely looks best in black! Absolutely no contest. Plus would look so menacing coming up behind cars on the motorway.
