The Pioneer run was held today... Epsom to Brighton and the bike has to be pre-war. That's the 1st World War.

I felt slightly out of place as I don't have a handlebar moustache or a hip replacement but riding bikes that old and slow takes big balls. Well done - Ionly hope I'm that active when I'm in my seventies!

As ever some of the stuff in the car park was pretty amazing. Norvin? Brough Superior anybody? I'll post those up as well if anyone is interested.

Thanks, nice pictures. I didn't go along (on my slightly newer bike) because I thought it was going to pee down most of the day.

Great pictures. Please post any more you have.

(At such events I always enjoy the game of trying to work out which is older, the bike or the rider! laugh )

The weather was fabulous and there were tons of modern bikes parked up. Great day out... anyway here goes.

Some were restored...

some probably not...

some in the bike park were drop dead gorgeous. And worth a lot of money...

others just reminded you of what made the British motorcycle industry so successful. Or not.

And finally, proof that BMW were not the first to think of Enduro tourer concept. Nope - I'd never seen one of these before either!
