My car (306 GTi6) is getting its bodywork sorted and will be looking better soon, I've decided to refresh it all, I have my carbon mirrors waiting to go on and I thought I'd get some rallye fog blanks and a new splitter since mine is looking a little poorly.

So, wallet bursting with notes (well sort of) I walk into the peugeot showroom and to the parts department should be easy ...

... but no, after half an hour and the bloke behind the desk trying to sell me fog lights 3 times I walk out with him saying "neither of those parts exist"

Anyone know where else I can get the rallye blanks and splitter from?

Try to speak to someone else in the parts department. In my experience there's some who know their classic peugeots (and will normally give you a bit of discount too) and those that don't.

There are also big variations in the helpfulness of parts departments in different dealers.

Sounds like I've got it lucky with my local delaer then. (Now part of the Co-Op rather strangely! Expect to see more silvertops driving 207s soon!)
