Ka clock losing time

The clock in my 2001 Ka loses time occasionally - and sporadically. I can get in some days and it's fine, then leave work some days and it will have lost as much as 20 mins (over, say, 8 hours). Does anybody have an experience of this?

Also, does anyone know where I can find the CO2 rating for it? It's a standard car with power but sans air-con.
