Daily Telegraph 100 most beautiful cars
Discussion
Countdown from 100-1 here:

Must say, there isn't too much I'd disagree with, other than the Jag Mk2 at number 12 (too high) and the Ferrari 330 P4 at 25 and Alfa 8C at 23 - probably would have been in my top 5!

The order looks very suspicious, I`m sure the voters didn`t collude for the sake of alphabetising the results: 1st page: V, TR, TO, P, N, MI, ME, MA etc. Another inaccurate or corrupted league table!
Lagonda Rapide?
Well, taste is subjective....

ETA Shame some images have been distorted to suit their `aesthetically pleasing` poll layout! And is it me, or is it not just the wheels that make that Countach look odd?

These things don't work when the ages of the cars are spread so wide.
There are lots of fantastic 1930s cars that could have been included. And most decent 1960s sports cars look wonderful to me!
What makes a car beautiful is often the comparison with its peers and design and technology has changed so much that the criteria of beauty is difficult to maintain across 100 years.
All in all a bit of a waste of time. Apart from including the XJS at 47

Each to their own, I guess. I'd like to throw in the following for consideration:
Lotus Elan
Maserati Bora
Jaguar D-type
TVR Tuscan
Datsun 240Z
Lola T70 (as much a road car as the GT40)
Jaguar XJ13
Dodge Charger (yee-haw)
and if concept cars are allowed, how about the recent Ferrari P4/5?
Always thought the Alfa Carabo was fantastic - my Matchbox model was the fastest around - imagine if they'd built it for real!
On a more mundane note, how about the Peugeot 205 & 306 - so good first time they couldn't facelift them!
