Dashpod Dimming - Help! (Audi A6)
Discussion
Hello all,
Got a 1998 Audi A6, and the writing on the screen in the middle of the dashpod dims considerably when it's warm. It's fine when it's cold, but as soon as it gets hot, it dims down to an unreadable level.
Yesterday, the warning light came on as I had a blown bulb, and I could barely see the warning light!
Anyone have any advice??
Cheers

That a common fault, only real repair is to change the dash. The prices are around £200/£400. You may get one on ebay however check the part number before buying.
When you get the dash you will need to recode it to match your keys and ECU. The main dealer will have to do this.
There was a company repairing the displays not sure how effective they were.
