Hi, does anyone know in which direction you turn the adjusters on the 2.9 EFI airflow meters in order to increase/decrease the idle CO%? My reading is over 2.0 compared with 0.75 in the specification, and my tailpipe is sooted up.

Good question. I couldn't work it out either so took it to my local MoT garage who put it on the analyser and I bunged em a few beer tokens.

To answer my own question, my local MOT garage says that looking downwards into the engine you turn clockwise to enrich the idle mixture and anti-clockwise to weaken it. A quarter turn with a 5mm allen key approximates to 1% of CO.

Excellent! I'll write that down and put a copy in the Haynes book and on the piece of paper with the fuse/relay references on.

Cheers smile
