I have a '93 classic 3.9 Vogue SE. It's developed an odd fault whereas when you pull away from cold you get about a mile up the road and it then dumps about a cup of water from the radiator header tank. This results in a bit of steam through the vents but nothing more. The thing is that after that everything runs fine, you can carry on all day and not a murmur. I think it’s a stuck thermostat somewhere in the system but thought I'd ask the PH respective before taking it apart.

if its dumping water out of the header tank mate theres a possibility its either a split or its presurising. can you see any visual cracks or damage? if not then maybe get it pressure tested?
