CONFIRMED RUN DATE - SUNDAY 1ST JUNE 2008

ROUTE - very nearly complete, just a small amount of new recce to check out, should get done before the end of next week. Once complete I will probably do a test run, which will be a last minute affair and I will post up here when I do it so if you happen to see it you can join me for a preview if you fancy it!

START TIME - I have had similar thoughts to last year on this, so...

5.30 - First group DEPARTS.
6.30 - Last group DEPARTS.

Arival time is up to you, but bear in mind the logistics of the above, with over 100 cars to deal with.

Now, I can be arsed to get up in time for the Banzai Group 5.30 start, and I know there are many more like me on here. In fact I bloody well wish I wasn't organising this thing because I'd love to be in that first group! This will be the best time to do the run, offering the clearest roads and least hassle. Having groups leaving this early will make it easier to get the later groups out. At 6.30 I will leave the start point, anyone turning up afterwards will have to make their own way (I will already have e-mailed you maps, written directions and tomtom files so this shouldn't be too difficult). Sorry, but it has to be that way.

Good day one and all.

I hereby declare the thread for this year's Kent Run open!

party

As yet, the route is unconfirmed. No doubt it will contain parts of the old one, however I have some tricks up my sleeve to keep it fresh. Similarly, the start point, end point and time are also unconfirmed. However, I hope that you can put trust in my assurances that it will all come together very nicely indeed thankyou very much.

As long as it doesn't rain.

Those of you who came last year will know the drill.
Those who don't, here's a link to last year's event - check it out first.

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

I am aiming for a very large run again, and would like to stress that the route will contain a mixture of roads and will be designed with super low cars in mind - last year the Ultimas were ok...

As yet I don't have a limit to the number of participants.

Here are the rules -

Send an e-mail with the following

PH username
Real name
Car
TomTom (Y/N)
Phone number

to kentrun08@live.co.uk

THEN add your PH name (with TT next to it if you have a TomTom) and car to the list below.

I'll then be in touch with updates as and when.

Thanks all!

Jay
