Seems i missed the headlamp/full beam relay when i ordered the loom/lights..
trawled the shops today and searched through a scrappy but to no avail..

any ideas on a part no. or what its from.. surely its only a simple relay?! £40 seems a bit steep from Ultima..?

£40!!! if it is anormal headlight relay you should be able to get it from most autofactors. I will be able to get one from my local auto factor if you are struggling??

Hi Kyle,

Are you still working on the fuel lines or might you be able to make it tomorrow / Mon ?

On an unrelated note, I'm still up for the dyno shootout. Have done a few tests myself and am happy to confirm AS's bhp.

Hi Graeme

the part number for the relay is 111 941 583. I was told it comes from a golf initially but when vw actually found it, it was from a beetle.

A quick google of that part number finds it for about £15 here in the UK.

So on face value you save £25, but how much will you car lose from not being factory approved? wink

Can anyone help?!

I need a relay which when 'pulsed' will give 1 or 2 minutes in the second circuit, even if the power on the first remains constant.

Any ideas?!

I have something like that on my starter button, it gives me 8sec to start (not long enogh really)and then goes into a secondry mode, to which you could connect anything (horn, flash etc)
It was with a gear knob starter for MR2's, don't have a clue how it works but it looks cool as it also flashes when the ignition is switched off.
