MTM 420HP chip

Hi chaps (and chapesses) I'm a refugee from the Pork forum.
A mate with a RS4 (380hp jobby) was asking me if there are any durability/reliability issues with MTM 420HP chip.
Seems a fairly modest increase to me, and I remember reading favourable road tests in the mags a few years back.
Should I encourage or dissuade him ?

I'm sure the MTM conversion is very good but I've heard a lot of good things about MRC when it comes to RS4 tuning. Most people over at rs246 seem to use them.

I've got a 'custom' MRC remap on my RS4, but there are lots of MTM 'generic' remaps out there, with satisfied customers.

A decent (Milltek) exhaust will also release some more horses and give it a bit more 'character' in terms of sound
