I am looking for appointment setting to be done via a outsourced company. I will provide the data and they make the calls. Normally I can expect a average memember of staff to make around 5 min per shift..
Anyone had any experiences of companies who do this? and anyone any ideas on what I should expect to pay for this?
Should I be looking at a payment per appointment say £40-£50?? or is that unrealistic??

Is this just straight forward arranging appoitments, or is it more trying to get your foot in the door / cold calling?

What sort of product are you selling?

The company I work for provides software to companies that do cold calling/ appointment setting. I could pass on your details to one of our customers that work in your product area if you like? I know a lot are reluctant to do it per lead though.

The way I read your post, you've already got staff who are supposed to be doing this - why pay someone else to do their job confused

If that's not the case, would you be better off hiring a tele-sales person which may give better value for money?
