Finally got the aerial lead through the door sill. Was a real struggle to get it through, I used a slight variation on the fishing rod method

1) Thread some steel tying wire through the eyes of the fishing rod tip and tie wire to the end eye, i.e. the tip

2) Thread rod (tip first) through the hole in the front of the passenger footwell, pushing the rod through the sill back towards the boot

3) Stick hand through flap behind passenger seat (also access to door opener mechanism), and feel for the end of the rod

4) Pull rod up so you can unwind the steel wire from tip, tie the wire to the end of the aerial. To get a secure attachment to the aerial I tied two tie wraps to the aerial wire for the steel wire to pull against. Remember to cut excess tie wrap off so not to cause an obstruction when pulling back through the sill

5) Pull steel wire until end of aerial lead touches fishing rod tip. Pull wire and fishing rod (to keep the end of lead touching rod) at sill exit point, making sure aerial lead does not snagg any wires around door mech as it moves down towards the sill

6) Pull aerial wire through sill to exit point at front of paseenger footwell, there is lots of padding in there, I had to pull the lead to and fro' to get it through

Padding was so dense, that I had to cut the fuse holder and connection block from the end of the lead to get it through. These should be replacable on Saturday when the new stuff is installed.........
