Does anyone know what the recommended maximum weight for a passenger in a Radical SR4. I have a friend who who has sat in the driver seat and fitted just about :P but am aware that the passenger seat maybe slightly smaller. I ask this having witnessed the cracking of the fibre glass following a possibly more ample passenger trying the car for size. Is it just a case of being ultra careful when getting in and out to avoid unwanted cracking?

Yes, care is required as to where you put your weight when getting in, particularly your hands after you have stood in the seat and are lowering your body into the car. Weight shouldn't be an issue if you make sure you hold well supported areas as you get in.

Thanks for the contribution nick, appreciated.

Yes I'm very cautious as to where hands are placed whilst getting in. Its always tempting to place a hand in the area of the carbon wind deflector. Hopefully I wont ever make that mistake!

I imagine that the seat is much resistant once the passenger is seated and spreading their weight across the surface of the seat.

I'm sure my friend will be happy to hear the verdict, at least from your reply as he would be very keen to get a passenger ride sometime. I am still very new to the Radical but will be doing my second trackday on the 13th of May at Silverstone GP circuit. What do you run Nick?
