just purchased an audi A4 avant 1.9tdi 03 plate.100k,1 owner,fsh.just wondering is there anything to look out for considering the milage or is that sort of mileage not an issue. Cheers, Mart.

Do your cambelts on time, keep it serviced and give it a bit to warm up before welding the loud pedal down and it'll triple that mileage.

cheers for the reply, its a six speed, is it more economical than a five speed?

6th is only marginally higher than 5th on the old box but it's a far nicer gearbox, clutch feels mor eprecise and positive with a better biting point, shift action has a nice feel to it and an easy to use, narrow gate.

Probably makes a few MPG difference here and there but lets you take better advantage of the performance.
