FM amplifier on a A4 B6 2003. Where is it?

Anyone know where the FM amplifier on a A4 (B6) 2003 Saloon is located?
My FM radio reception is very porr and i have been told that the amplifier is the common fault.
Just need the serial number from it, so i can order a new one....

In the side pods of the boot i believe? I stand to be corrected...

I thought it was located in the Audi fitted head unit.
