Took my VXR600 Monaro into the dealers where it was painted on Monday and they agreed there was a problem (there quick like that! rolleyes ). Said they would get hold of standox (the paint suppliers) and arrange to get the car inspected.... Get to today and I have to drive down there only to find the Bodyshop manager I spoke to has been on holiday since I spoke to him!! No one else knew anything else about it and I ended up insisting they and myself speak to him on his mobile at home since no one else was available. He Advised me he was waiting for a call back from Standox still, I replied that you as in Vauxhall should be chasing them harder than this as I was not willing to wait much longer... Left it that I would go back in Monday afternoon to see him again and not leave till something was arranged.
Since Im not good at keeping my temper what would anyone recomend I do as I just want the crap paint they put on the car replaced! mad

I'd be asking for a refund and getting it re-done elsewhere.

Take it to an upmarket bodyshop, get them to give you a written appraisal.
Take that to the Dealer.
Tell em you are taking them to small claims court unless they rectify the workmanship.
Take the SCC paperwork in with you.
Never ever raise your voice, an empty vessel makes most noise.

Good Idea! will call the local repair shop tomorrow as they are well respected here. Where is the easiest place to get SCC paperwork from?

I would certainly recommend small claims court actions. Once you have been through it once its dead easy. Lost one, won one.

Will see what happens on Monday... if they have a survey date sorted out I will let it ride so long as its looked at within the week.
