would like to replace all the rubber oil hoses with braided aeroquip ones.

after having my water ones perish, i am concerned now about the oil ones and would like to put the issue to bed and out of my mind once and for all.

does anybody supply a set complete and ready to go?

cheers
sean

You might have better luck on the US forum, IIRC Hoover has the correct "kit".

great cheers,

have seen in a race car catalogue that the unions and braided hose can be bought seperatly and then made up.

this is for the supply

the return hoses seem to be just plain hose with jubilee clips, this is also available in lengths with a braided covering.

my plan is to remove all four hoses, measure up, and buy the bits and fittings to suit, build up the supply hoses and cut the return to length,

sound like a good plan?

Sean, this would be a great little instruction with pictures/parts numbers to add to the wiki or nobleparts section for other members to benefit from.

okey dokey

i plan to take the hoses off tomorrow evening and go along to the shop wednesday to order all the bits, i will keep notes and make a list off all the parts required.

bits are generally cheaper in germany than the uk plus i dont have to pay tax on what i buy here which makes things even cheaper. i will look and putting some packages of bits together for other members if it all goes well
