For those of you that have 3D ECU’s, what make and model do you use?
What do you think of your unit, loom, quality, value for money, easy to map?

The plan is to buy all the bits I need for a twin turbo charged LS (1 or 2) engine over here in the US and bring back to the UK with me the swap out the SBC.
They tend to hack the original ECU on the LS engine, but I am going to be running turbo’s so I’d like something more.

Oh and it needs to work with a MXL display unit but I think they all do.

The DTA P8 fast looks good.
Do I really want anti lag….. it would be good in a traffic light grand prix or car park show off though smile

Have looked into coms between Aim dash to GM PCM but looks like they wont talk to each other Via CAN or even OBD2....but am usng that combo myself... so 2 seperate looms unfortunatly....... perhaps we should talk to Aim and get them onboard...

I did speak to them at an autosport event a couple of years back and they did say that if we could supply them with the protocol command set of any (CAN Enabled) ECU they would endeavour to add it to their supported list of ECU's!

I know the Corvette using 'Can' to talk to all the other cars Boxes on startup, but dont know weather you could pull any info out of the PCM other than wheel speed... but i'll ask on the Ls forum
