Ubuntu - Wine - Password Safe - Accessing Windows Share

I have Password Safe running on my Ubuntu PC at work. I use password safe as do some of the other IT guy in the office, at the moment the only way to access the Password Safe .psafe3 file is to have it local on my machine as it cant see the windows share its located in

BUT because other staff update the file on the windows share i have to copy it locally. and when i update it i have to copy it back

is there any way of getting password safe working in WINE that can access the windows sharE?
