I think I've discovered the cause of my problems: if I 'Add Car' to my profile and put in a URL for a picture it doesn't seem to retain the picture information. If I view the entry (from the Members Cars list) and then 'Edit Summary' the URL field is blank. However, if I re-enter the URL then the picture appears once the summary is updated.

I also seem to have a problem displaying a photo on my profile although the correct (fotango) URL is there. All I get is a very nice red X even though when I first put it on last night, I was getting the photo correctly. I have also input the URL via the Members Cars list and that hasn't helped. The photo is still available on the Fotango website with the same url that appears here. Any ideas please.

The URL for your photo on Fotango is not valid (at least not for me) - I can't use it to go straight to the Fotango site. Perhaps check case sensitivity and that you have enabled public access to it.

It was the wonders of technokology that as usual had passed me by, I'd overlooked to create a link at the fotango end.
