Looking for a new sensore for a Rover K-series engine and noticed they sell Bosch, own brand and a universal 4 wire kit which means you use the orginal plug. Being half the cost got me interested, but apart from the obvious re the plug, what's the downside to using one of these ?
Thanks

I'm not a fan of universal Lambda sensors, they seem to give trouble, more often than not in my experience, I'd recommend either Bosch or NTK(NGK) bespoke fit sensors, these are as good and often better than OE ones. Just my opinion mind :wink

A lot of universal lambdas have note on then that states 'not compatible with rover k seris engine' i dont actually know why but they are not that great in any case you would be better going for a bespoke replacment from Bosch.
