I know what you're saying; "bad driving", "bad motorcylists" ..
but it's no more (or less) persecution than the other 95% of this type of program which brands all speeding motorists as dangerous maniacs.

personally i thought that the chap, trying to force the bikers of the road, and cutting them up at the junction, should of been prosecuted!, the cop had video evidence of the drivers behaviour on 3 seperate instances! and yet because the driver said they felt intimidated because of some bikers it was shake hands or you both get busted for dangerous driving!

Oh come on, it wasn't that bad biggrin

The geezer on the SP was riding like a tit & the RR-hating old boy was fair in his dealings.

The 600kilo Africa Twin - if you have Ewan & Charlie stuffed in the panniers maybe.

But being hit by a pheasant - plucking hell yikes

The driver had a witness that confirmed his story, which had a lot more details than were caught on camera.

Hardly a simple case of sweet innocent bikers and an evil car driver.

Cop investigating the bike/horse incident did seem a little bit of a prat! Not only was there the 600kg Afrika Twin but horse rider statement says ‘bike rider was near the white line but on his side of the road. Saw the horses, wobbled and skidded over the line.’ Cop says ‘I knew he was on the wrong side of the road!’ Not until after he tried to do an emergency stop on a left hand bend!!!!!! – duh !

SP1 rider was being .... er .... a little stupid! Open roads is one thing but through a village at the rate he appeared to be going at! Not really on.

Heh, I noticed that and wondered why it was disregarded.

Aye, fair cop. Happens to me all the time, tonking along in NSLs and then slowing down to the speed limit for villages only to be overtaken by a flock of bikes.

The Africa Twin crash looked like a classic case of target fixation ... round a corner to see two great big horses .... start to ride towards them ... attempt to stand the bike up and brake then crash. Definitely inexperienced riding!

The SP1 bloke was silly going through the village at that speed and if he had been sticking to the limits through the village he wouldn’t have been caught in the NSL – didn’t look too bad on the NSL though.

I’d be surprised if the Pheasant guy was actually doing 60mph to do THAT much damage I reckon a fair bit more - especially as the road was straight as a die!!

The funniest was watching the copper trying to get the Rottweiler into the boot of the T5!!

Everybodys beaten me to it!
I noticed the 600Kg Africa Twin too-what a pr!ck.
As far as that incident was concerned the guy might have being going a bit quick for a blind bend but there was a hell of a lot of contradictory "evidence". Skid marks on opposite side of road could have been as he moved out to try & pass the horses.
The bobby never asked the horsey types whether they were in single file OR alongside each other. I see that so often near me where a woman keeps a couple of nags on some land. I've gone down that road & seen her & darling daughter on the nags side by side on a minor road just round a bloody S bend. They really annoy me trotting along as if they own the f...g highway & then have the "grace" to raise a polite hand when you pass. WHY the hell don't they get into a bloody field somewhere? They are after all the ORIGINAL 4x4- THAT'S WHAT THEY WERE MEANT FOR !!

The woman on the prog last night was clearly not short of a bob or two so why didn't she ride the nag in her large paddock that they showed. Can't help think that bit was very biased against Mr Nasty Biker not local land owner type.

As far as the prat on the SP1 he deserved what he got BUT-WHY did he get £750 fine yet the knob in the Lupo (doing 124mph) get nothing like that??? Where is the consistency?

Sorry but I think it still shows a different approach exists to bikers compared to other road users & YES it does also show that a few pillox on bikes aggravate that attitude.

You missed a few points ... that the horses were on the opposite side of the road ... the women stated they were both single file during her conversation with the plod. The coppers were both idiots though!

The reason the biker got a £750 fine was because he 'only' got 6 points and kept his licence ... whereas the young kid got banned for 40 odd days [the better option in my book!]

the horse was on the other side of the road coming towards him

he was going too fast then got target fixation, went straight towards it,locked up and hit the horse.

thankfully the horse and rider were ok

Guess that's me corrected on at least one point then ! getmecoat Apologies I simply missed those crucial comments.
Still think there was inconsistency over penalties though &, at the risk of annoying horsey types, nothing will change my views about how horse riders DO often behave on roads affecting car drivers & bikers alike.
