Caparo T1's testing today at Silverstone - pics and thoughts

Hi there,

I know not strictly related to this section of P/H, but thought you guys might appreciate this.

Tagged along with a group of fellow petrolheads today to Silverstone to get some shots of the team at Caparo putting the T1 through its paces out on track and showing the car to potential customers.

The day was organised by the BRDC and there were some interesting cars out on track aside from the Caparo's.

Well worth going, event though the weather this morning was pants. Got to Silverstone around 10am and the rain stopped almost straight away and the sun started to come out.

Have to say only expected to see one Caparo, to arrive at Silverstone and find three was superb, great choice of colours as well.

Quite simply the Caparo is an awesome car !! It is phenomenaly quick and sounds superb.

How many laps did they manage before they broke?

Did any of them have technical issues? Some of those look like they may be customer cars.

Those are great bright colors (good photos!). I have to laugh whenever (which is almost never) I see two people sitting in a caparo!

Did you get to go out in a Caparo ??

Now that puts an end to the looks department, function over form.
However I still think it's a stunning looking car.
