I'll be camping... and compared to Bivvying on top of some mountain somewhere it will be luxury... all things are relative you see...

I'm looking forward to it... wink

If you can bring yourself to go there, Lidl's offers this week are on camping gear

Talking from experience don't buy a cheap tent

Thought it was a good idea last year to get a cheap one for the Le Mans trip, but it p*ssed down and woke up the first night at 3am in 2 inches of water!

I'm going to camp.

I also have had an experience of a cheap tent, its not worth it.

Well if it starts to rain there's always the option of a nice dry car hehe

Looking forward to camping at SCH this year! thumbup

You're right about the cheap tents, but also make sure that your tent is pitched properly, however much it cost. There should be a gap between the flysheet and the inner, and there definitely shouldn't be anything touching the tent walls or it will leak if it rains.

Oh, and if you're the sort who drives around with the roof on, you'll probably want to bring an inflatable mattress... hehe

IF (and it is still a pretty big IF unfortunately) I get the time to get 'her' finished then my son and I will definitely be camping, no wussies here! I have slept in TVR once before, I am DEFINITELY not trying that again.

Camping and a few beers seems the only way to go. Picked up the loan tent last night. I wondered if the wife might test it in the garden first, you can imagine the reply. hehe

Well, I've slpet under Land Rovers and the like but may be going soft.

I've just been and bought a tent as my 13 year old and I may well be going to camp. It's a long drive for me after all...
