Could I be cheaky and ask for a ride in the Chimera Darren as I'm ashamed to admit I've never even been in a TVR. Many thanks.

latest weather is dry until 4ish - maybe.
Bunch of 911s from impactbumpers sharing a garage or two - I lurk on here from time to time. Come and say hi.

Well the weather's looking better than first forecast - bright and sunny if a little mist first thing. Will bring my camera. See you there.

Had a great day, Darren thanks so much for those laps in your Chimera - I can't believe how much abuse that car takes and how much speed it carried even in drizzly conditions.

Have many photos to trawl through, will post up any worthy ones.

Hi there,

Popped into to Oulton Park this morning for 20 minutes as I was on my way from Derby to Chester to see a client. Put the camera in the car as I hoped I would have a bit of spare time.

Needed to work on the panning with my Canon 40D as I have not done alot of panning since I got it. Also needed to play with the ISO settings as I was not happy with the camera in the auto mode for ISO.

Some really nice cars out on track, seemed to be a Lotus theme today. Have to say the Silver/Black 997RS that was out was a stunner.

Here are a few of my pics, as mentioned didn't stay to long.

Lotus 2 Eleven

Lotus Exige

New Supercharged Lotus Elise

Impreza and Lancer Evo

As Ben mentioned above he was out in the Ginetta G50

One of my all time favourite track cars - M3 CSL

A couple of Jap Drifters

Sorry they are all a bit samey, as I said only a flying visit for me today.
Hope you all had fun.

Let me know what you think of the pics.

Regards

Tim

Richard , glad you enjoyed it.
It still amazes me how the Chimaera holds together... 7 years of mostly Oulton track days , with a turnip like me at the wheel ! and it's still going strong ! hehe

Good video ,reminds me how good Track days can be, when you've got the right circuit and good drivers.

Typical of an EasyTrack day.

Fast little buggers ,those bike engined Se7ens , comiserations on having yours blow, but like you say, at least it waited till the end of the day...

Good video. You passed me a few times when I was on one of my cooling down laps.... in the silver Astra VXR.
Hopefully your car will be back on track soon.

Every one I was with commented how quick that was - you could hear the ABS cutting under braking.

Yes it does have passenger seat. Fitted it myself the day before, so i could coach my sponsor. Keeping it in to offer passenger rides to anyone who wants them? (trying to make some money to continue racing!)
