In my experience (and not necessarily me - others that I know too!!), long term partners are usually quite receptive to this sort of thing and eager to please. However, it might just be because most of my friends and aquantainces are quite open minded (or at least the ones I've discussed this sort of thing with).

Why not just get rid of the kids for the weekend, tie her up, and then show her what your fantasies are?
