I've got mine on the 'bay at the mo with no reserve ending tonight, I paid £2500 for it less than 6 months ago but I'm selling it as I came accross a Jag XJR that was too cheap to refuse... but at the moment it's not fetching as much money as I'd hope, it's only at £1,240 - seems a bit low for a mint 2002 car with 67k and a FSH. Any ideas what it's likely to go for? Item number is 120254222575 if anyone wants to take a look.

2002 Xsara.

Recent tax hikes and being post 2001 March make it worth a bit less.

Recent rises in petrol costs are making older low mpg cars less desireable.

Relatively high insurance costs.

Unfortunately older high running cost cars are taking a hammering. It's ultimately only worth what people are willing to pay, and when people have bugger all money, cheap (to buy, but not run) performance cars are taking a big hit!

frown

Good luck either way, but I'd realise that the right buyer might take longer to find, and if petrol prices keep rising for the near future getting rid might seem harder and harder...

Now, in 18 months you might find petrol back down at 90p/litre and the economy looking good, and you might get people banging at the door wanting it for the price you want...

Cheers

Dave

All the action is in the last few hours anyway, and it's finishing early evening so plenty of people will be online for the last bidding.

Seems to have had plenty of interest already with 24 bids, so I'd just stay optimistic for now...
