Kinda strange that such a wonderful event in a perfect location with some stunning cars gets such little coverage on Pistonheads. Oh, well....your loss!wink

Saw your Alitalia car? in the Lancia owners club paddock....Nice! Is it a Hawk?

Highlights of the day were works Metro 6R4 (Not Italian but lovely noise) & Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera blatting up the test hill.

was meant to be going but ended up with my car in pieces last night trying to fix it, and got too tired to think straight by half 2 this morning frown plus it was a tad chilly and damp at that point too

A Giocherellona, I was chatting to your husband for a while, (I was the tall, unshaven, shaggy haired bloke) sweet Stratos!
hope you both enjoyed the drive as much as I did.

Ah, hello smile
It was nice to meet you!

I've put a picture of the strats in my profile.
FunWithRevs was wearing a brown Pistonheads t-shirt.

Well folks, being completely obsessed with Lamborghini cars and supercars in general, this saturday (3rd May) myself, the missus and a few mates attended (for my fourth year running) the Auto Italia Magazine Spring Italian Car Festival.

A couple of non Italian cars sneaked in: a Swiss built Monteverdi and a pukka Group B Metro 6R4. Nobody complained at their attendance!

Oh, and on the way there it turned out that in a straight line my BMW E30 335i is faster than my mate's lightly tuned Subaru Impreza with one less passenger too! He couldn't keep with me from 30mph to errrm... 69.5mph! Mwuuhaaaaaahaaaaaahaaaaa!
He wasn't happy about that!

Stephen; I saw no Miuras either, a shame but it was still a fantastic display as usual!

There was also plenty of nice cars in the general car park!
Anyway, here's the link to the photos!
