Ka3 odd ka3 problem

Hi 23/f/warwickshire! Got a problem with my R reg Ka3, just wondering if anyone could help.

Im slightly handy with a multimeter and iv tested the battery and fuses, just thought id get that out the way 1st.

When ever i turn on my car all the lights (including headlights) are dim and the electric windows and heater don’t work. After about 1 to 5 min something happens and it all clicks on and starts to work normally again. The battery is reading a healthy 12v and 13v when the engines on.

Iv looked into the other ka probs on the net but I cant see one that’s linked to this.

Can anyone diagnose my problem, it would be very much appreciated?

possibly a bad earth connection, that gets better as current flows and warms the wire/connection which decreases resistence???
