Car was advertised 2 weeks ago (before I went on holiday) silly me didn't take any details and now can't find it anywhere on web. Don't suppose anyone looked at, bought car or knows of this S and has a phone number?? Also have any of you fellow searchers looked at the £8500 BRG S3C in Cardiff?

Hi Sif
I am looking at the BRG Cardiff..tonite..
I know £8500 seems a bit pricey but its meant to be a pretty good one!
I am also looking for a V8 but if this one is that good, who knows?
I did post a topic last week V6 or V8, many interesting replies. I'm looking at as many as I can!

I have an S3 and live in Cardiff.

£8500 still seems high even for a good one (almost in V8 territory). I have a value in mind for mine and your welcome to see it as a comparison.

Interesting to see how you rate it, £8500 does seem awfully high but if the guy is open to offers... I saw the Storm Grey S3 in Glous. good price at £5650 but the chassis seemed a little suspect and the MOT/tax is very short, also needs; full carpets, poss. roof panels & seals, ran a bit rough but had been stood for a while.

Has anyone seen the Blue S1 in Chelmsford yet?

Emailed the owner today, so hopefully soon. Don't like the sound of the racing steering though I hear the steering can be very 'sensitive' even with a standard rack...

I looked at the referred to Green S3 in South Wales a couple of weekends ago. I am not 'experienced' in these circles, but have been hanging around here picking up 'tips' for a while, and I had been present during an inspection of a V8S the day previously, and so had a fresh(ish) memory of what to look out for.

The car is in very good nick; the previous owner had spent a load of time sorting the chassis etc. and the owner seems a 'jolly good chap' who is an enthusiastic owner with genuine reason for selling it (and not really wanting to)

I was sorely tempted, but I decided to 'hold out' for a good V8S given that I've got time to keep looking.

Good luck for tonight brigdav!

No idea Richard, I wondered that myself. Perhaps Simon will be able to satisfy our curiosity once he's seen it.

And finally Esther...
