What router ? cable internet - faster wifi

My internet router is only 11b wifi.

I am looking to replace it with something that runs at least 11g.

It's working currently with Virgin Media cable - so only needs an ethernet port - no adsl modem required.

I would prefer a router with DYNDNS hardware update client (but if not will install client on my ubuntu server) and also would like one with a hardware VPN... does anyone have a suggested model - I was looking at the D-LINK DIR-655

My Netgear WPN824 runs happily with VM.
It works and runs the internet with a pc, mac and linux hardware the other end
