Hello all
Having had my VXR8 a while i am now thinking of adding a supercharger, I know the car stands at 414bhp (approx) as standard but if i were to add this charger what would be the bhp then.
Having read up on things it says that a supecharger will add approx 30% more bhp, so i could expect my car to produce about 530-540ish! I must admit funds being as they are i may be forced to buy one of the older chargers ( the ones that were on the VXR8 before)
Is the info i have correct if not HELP!!!!

Best idea would be to take a few demonstrators and vendors test cars for a drive. Go with the one that works best for you. They are all slightly different.

yeah it sure does , i have driven others with a supercharger on and i like the power but i want to know before hand what power i get for my money. Maybe you guys at Walkinshaw can help on this one, as if i get one it is likely to be one of hte second hand ones that you have there.

What you really want is a side by side comparison from the same dyno. Maybe we can organise a vixpy dyno day again to get some of the new setups on there to add to the last runs.

Failing that dont even bother comparing advertised power numbers. Its pretty much pointless as different dyno makers and operators use different assumptions, constants, adjustments and values to determine numbers.

Hence why I say take them for a drive and buy off driveability and seat of the pants performance, not off headline numbers.
