Are there any well paid jobs out there that primarily involve driving.the only one i can think of is working your way up in the police and becoming a traffic cop. Any others?

Have you considered driving large quantities of cocaine from the continent into the main land.

I believe that can command a large price.

HGV drivers in Iraq. Obvious risks. Doubt driving jobs will pay much as pretty much most adults can drive.

My mates a Bus driver and takes home anywhere between £350-£500 per week depending on what overtime he does.

Driving Instructors can earn about £30,000, although they got to pay for everything (fuel/maintenance etc)

Airport airside tanker drivers earn a fair whack, if you have the appropriate HGV and airside driving tickets.

my understanding, and I've spoken to a few cabbies about it, is that while it's possible to earn up to £50k+ pa, you need to work all the hours on earth to achieve that figure...

If you're driving a 747 or the Shuttle I guess you'd be earning enough to be comfortable..

Canadian truck drivers working in the oil business, certain routes in Alberta/Saskatoon (I think) drivers are earning 80k-100k sterling during the winter months. It's not exactly a safe environment though

HGV 1 drivers aren't paid too shabbily. If you get further qualified (HIAB, HAZCHEM, tankers etc) you can get a bit/lot more.

Civilian astronauts earn up to $100,701 p/a so about £50K. Those in the military stay on military pay scale.

As a comparisson, a BA Captain earns between £70K - £100K
