Ka3 wheel badge

Hello everyone

First post over here in the Ford forum...

My Mrs has a 1998 Ka3 and the alloy wheels have a 60mm Ford badge on them, not centre caps, just a badge on the outside. Some scrote has nicked a couple and as she takes far more care of her car than I would she wants to replace them.

I've looked everywhere, even contacted Ford, but no-one knows where to get them. As PH is the font of all knowledge I thought I'd ask over here.

So, anyone got any idea where I can get some from?

If ford doesn't stock that part, your best bet would probably be to check places like Ebay and breakers yards. The Ka3 with the wheel design where the Ford badge is on the spoke hasn't been made for a while and it is quite possible that the glue used to hold the badge has weakend on most of the cars that are around, so I'm assuming the part may be quite rare in general now.

Alternatively, you could try and make your own badge, maybe you could print one off in high resolution, stick it on and lacquer it back in place. I'm sure there are also loads of companies that could easily and cheaply make you some. Look for specialist companies that work with vinyl or model making in your Yellow Pages and ask around.
