'Cos I can't see the fecker in IE7, jet I can see plenty of other favicons for other sites - grrr!

I'm fairly certain I've got the right code within the head tag:

<link rel="icon" href="favicon.ico"type="image/x-icon" >
<link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon" >

And I can directly access the favicon.ico in the browser.

Fecking MS!

Thanks, I've just installed Firefox and seen it working, so at least I'm not going crazy! Still nothing for me in IE 7.0.5730.11 - weird.

ETA, I'm on XP if that's of any consequence.

Cheers,
Rob

Yup, cache cleared a few times, IE quit and restarted. Just installed SP3, but IE hasn't changed, wonder why I'm on .11 and you're on .13?

Going to hit windows update again and see how many SP3 cock ups MS have got fixes for alreadywink

I'm not using SP3, still on SP2 around here - wonder if that's why our IEs are different?

Dunno, mine was IE 7.0.5730.11 on SP2 and it's still IE 7.0.5730.11 on SP3. I'm using XP Home, maybe there's a difference with that? Anyway it's somewhat trivial in the scheme of things I guesswink Thanks for checking it out for me.

Cheers,
Rob
