What are the basic differences between the two?
There seems to be quite a large price difference.
Anything I should look out for? Pros and cons.

GTS-T is RWD and has less power as standard: 1 turbo, 2.5litre engine.
GTR is clever 4WD and has more power as standard: 2 turbos, 2.6 (just) litre engine.

Which handles better? Could argue the GTS-T is the better handler as it is true RWD. The GTR, when it breaks away, requires you to keep the boot in, I understand. If you lose your nerve and back off, it'll spit you out of a hedge backwards.

GTS is a water down , pretty tame model compared to the GTR , the GTR has a nicer looks as stock ie better body kit , better interior and dash , better brakes , suspension and is an all round better package and the prices reflect that. The difference if you choose to modify the car is less so and boils down to rwd/4wd in all honestly

I certainly wouldnt swap my 400hp GTST for a 400hp GTR

I am not sure the interior is noticeably better. The external looks are obviously better though.

Spot on, in fact it's only 4WD when the computer decides your driving godness isn't up to scratch, and you could do with some help. I love my R33GTST and really don't feel the need to weigh the front down with a load of technology I shouldn't really need. It's pretty standard at the moment so not really in GTR territory at the moment, but I'm got some mods scheduled for over the winter so it should be about 360BHP by this time next year smile

@liner33, what have you done to yours? I've got a shopping list ready but any input is always appreciated.

Stock GTST is around 250hp at the flywheel and GTR is around 320hp at the flywheel although their drivetrain losses are higher due to the drive

300hp is cheap and easy on a GTST

My advice would be to look on the forums for well loved cars rather than fresh imports although the 40th Anniversary ones should be a btter long term buy
