Saw a nice plate on a black Cayman S this morning- no pic as I was on the tram going past it:

BAD PH 1

OK, so it was a German plate (this was in Switzerland by the way) but it made me smile as it was a PH plate on a PH car. I doubt it was anyone on here though!

prob worth 20k you can offer regtransfers something for it - they will take a cut
ring other dealers
ask around on websites
look to see if it's on a car.

Out of complete boredom I've just searched and discovered this is on a Rolls Royce Silver Seraph.

Speaking to reg transfers for the last 3 years have come to nothing other than they want very very close to asking price
Is there anyway of locating the owner other than "hoping to see the car"

That would imply the owner has told them they won't accept lower than asking.

I say this as I sold a plate through them last year and was willing to negotiate (i.e. RegTransfers did inform me of offers made).

I find them very hard to deal with maybe i think that because im not getting what i want at the price i want but on 35k reg transfer have a fair wod on that.

I managed to locate the plate for Auditt and spoke to the owner and son. Unfortunately they are wanting too much for the plate still. I will keep on trying though
