I was driving next to a new shape white TT yesterday - thought the shapes make it look a little awkward and quite unremarkable.

I've seen one in Scharnhorst grey.......crisp body lines front and rear, but looks awfully large and wide for what I thought was a small sprouts car

I was at Shelsley Walsh Breakfast club on Sunday and some lovely cars which have been captured by the Photographer Mathew Bedworth

Really worth flicking through his work if you have a spare half hour.

I keep hearing a wonderful BMW M4 in and around West Bridgford - judging by the noise it makes I'm sure it's not standard. Sounds wonderful and Phoenix Yellow looks nicer in the flesh than I thought it would.
I've just had an M4 on an extended test drive and the exhaust is really loud when in sport or sport+ so it's probably standard!

+1 The arches and side-skirts remind me of those awful 80's bodykits!

I would find it very difficult(In fact it wouldn't ever happen) to spend about £90k on one of these.

I know it goes like stink... Butsmile I would imagine 90% of the masses wouldn't know that is £90k worth of car. Where I got that % from I have no idea, and of course we shouldn't be buying cars for what the others think.

I just couldn't spend £90k on an Audi Estate... Where's that getmecoat smiley gone.

And that appeals to me.

I saw a BMW M6 Gran-coupe on the M42 tonight. Most people would think it's a 640d but those who know, know.

Your point being?

ETA: Go utterly mental on the extras list and you can spec an RS6 to £130k.

Not sure if that's at me... If it was then the point being was I couldn't personally spend £90k £130kyikes on an Audi Estate.

But maybe that's just me. Being very honest with myself though,I can't see me spending those figures on any car,for those that can and do great for them.

I fully understand what you say about the appeal, just if I ever had that kind of money I'm sure I could find the appeal not in an Audi garagesmile

I would probably find my way to somewhere I could get an E-Type jag... There you go I've really thrown the cat among the pigeons now.biggrin
