I am looking to getting a Apple Laptop. NOt keen on the new thin one they have so its down to the ibook or the pro.

Now, I will be using it for the internet, a bit of word but I will have a fair few picture on it and I will be using photoshop now and again to edit pictures.

I am confused at the big difference between the ibook and the pro. I like the 13.3inch screen on the ibook but the Pro I would be looking at 15inch. Is the pro worth the extra money? Cheers

Its not the iBook anymore its the Macbook and then the Macbook Pro. I have a Pro and unless you're using heavy apps like video and music software then the Macbook is more than capable - in fact the Macbook can handle most things thrown at it.

I was in a similar position myself until today, when I ordered a refurbished Macbook Pro for only slightly more than the cost of a new Macbook.

The one thing that was putting me off the Macbook was the screen. I do quite a bit with photos, and I was worried that 13.3" was just going to be a little bit too small and would get frustrating after a while. A 15" Macbook would have been ideal, but Apple don't make one...
